Belgrade Out There are continually looking to update their Belgrade events section with up and coming events but the 2 major events that we promote to our most valued clients are the Exit Festival and the Belgrade Beer Festival.

Many festival goers, who are yet to attend this fantastic four-dayer, are still often surprised to discover that Exit is held in the Serbian student city of Novi Sad!

165,000 attended last year's highly successful event, which was headlined by the likes of The Chemical Brothers, Placebo and Royskopp.

This festival is reminiscent of how the very best European festivals used to be before they became spoiled by money interests, bureaucracy and over-the-top policing. Don't miss this opportunity to experience Europe's hippest festival and to enjoy a holiday in one of Europe's most exciting destinations – Serbia.

Belgrade beer fest is the biggest beer festival in Belgrade, Serbia and one of the largest music and beer festivals in Europe. The Belgrade Beer festival attracts over 500.000 people over the 5 days of beer and having a good time in Belgrade. The main reason for the popularity of the Belgrade beer fest is simple…at the Belgrade Beer the entrance is free, the music  program is varied and most importantly of all the wide selection of domestic Serbian Beer and foreign beers to sample at the Belgrade Beer Fest.

Belgrade beer fest started in 2003 and in the last 7 years of partying and drinking, more than 3 million people have frequented the festival.  The Belgrade Beer Fest not only attracts beer drinkers but also musicians – over 350 music bands have come to perform at the festival, ranging from Balkan music to hard rock, from folk to jazz. The emphasis of the festival, obviously, is to try many different types of beer.   Over 70 different brands and types of beers have been promoted and sampled at the Belgrade Beer Fest – quite an impressive stat the Belgrade Out There team thinks!

Belgrade beer fest received lot’s of support from around the world.  The UK’s broadsheet newspaper ‘The Independent’ listed the Belgrade beer fest in top 20 must visit world events. Therefore there is no time to lose…let Belgrade Out There assist you by organizing a once in lifetime Belgrade beer experience!

The range and quality of Hotels in Belgrade has vastly improved during the past decade. If you are searching for a hotel in Belgrade then you should have no problem finding one that suits your pocket, tastes or desired location.

Accommodation in Belgrade varies from the basic cheap-but-cheerful river boat hotel, boasting a superb location but rather basic on the amenities, to top of the range five star offerings, such as the luxurious Hyatt Regency, that attract top business people, touring pop stars and the local elite on a daily basis.

Some of the older 3-star Belgrade hotels have changed little since the time of Tito, but these are the places where you will truly experience the 'warts and all, keeping it real' vibe that so epitomises the Serbian capital.

As well as the Hyatt Regency, Belgrade's best hotels include the super plush Crystaland the classy Villa Jelena. Other top class Belgrade Hotels tend to be located a few kilometres outside the city centre, with the best of these including Zlatnik and the palatial sounding President.

Hoteli u Belgradu - as they are known in the Serbian language - used to have a rather poor reputation in the 1990s, but as Belgrade Tourism has begun to take off, and the city re-establishes itself as a regional cultural and business centre, competition in the hotel sector has greatly improved. There are, for example, at least 20 accommodation options that can be classed as upmarket Belgrade hotels. Amongst their number are several recognisable international hotel brands including the Holiday Inn Belgradeand two hotels belonging to Best Western, while others deserving mention includeMajestic, Europa and the centrally located Balkan Hotel.

Decent mid-range Belgrade hotels with good central locations include the Park Hoteland Kasina. Neither is exactly luxurious, but both are clean, close to all the main tourist sites and have a certain Serbian charm.

If budget hotels are your thing then consider overnighting in Belgrade at The Bristol,BG City Hotel, or the 80-year-old Prag.

We can also offer you hotels close to Belgrade Airport if you have flights to Belgrade arriving very late at night or departing at the crack of dawn. Remember, however, that we are here to ensure that you get the very best out of your time in Belgrade and also offer inbound and outbound airport transfers, should you wish to base yourself in and around the city centre for the entirity of your stay.
